Hot Air Ballooning and Paragliding in Darjeeling

You can now enjoy the great snow capped Himalayas and the town of Darjeeling not only from the ground but also from the air. Our adventure partners at "Off Road Darjeeling" bring you Paragliding and Hot Air Ballooning as a recreational adventure sport. You can now sit with your own private pilot in a hot air balloon basket or in a harness suspended below a hollow fabric wing. Paragliders are unique among soaring aircraft in being easily portable. The complete equipment packs into a rucksack and can be carried easily on the pilot's back, in a car. In comparison with other air sports this substantially simplifies travel to a suitable takeoff spot, the selection of a landing place and return travel.

Please contact the Elgin Darjeeling Reception to book your Paragliding experience.
